Whirlwind
11 received the
top 2 year old scores for Canada in the CWHBA 2005 licensing.
The International Judging panel scored his gaits, jumping scope
with 9's . He is a moving machine that can jump the moon. His
pedigree includes 2 top producing lines of the KWPN. Fall
2007 Whirlwind was reserve champion of the CWHBA national
stallion performance approval test with an index score of 117
validating the early scores.
Whirlwind 11 has
gone to Omaha Nebraska to play in hunter derby land. He is competing
with Dannee Reisler Chartwell (a former working student) in
the saddle for the fall 2011, winter and early spring 2012 season.

flash Dannee and Whirlwind competed in the St Louis
Show the first week of Jan. 2012. It got better and better as
he pinned 4th,then 2nd,then 1st in regular hunter classes and
went on to win the hunter classic with 2 rides of 82 points.

The
present plans are he will come back to Canada in the late spring
and resume his stallion duties. Changes in the 2012 breeding

a 2 year old daughter was the top dollar 2 year old at the CWHBA
fall classic sale and 2nd highest price of the sale. Her FEI
quality movement, fence style and overall charisma charmed the
attendees. Her new owner has big dressage plans for her.
His
sire Haarlem won his years test in Holland. The
jumping prowess of Voltaire rising to the top again.
His
dam side is a Good Times mare that is an outstanding
mover( Sophia (showing under the name of Senorita)imported
from Holland in utro won the Alberta Mare Champion in
2003) and she reflects the reasons the Dutch are seeing
the Good Times' offspring winning in the show ring and
tried to buy her back to Holland. This mare is competeing
in 1 meter 40 divisions at Spruce Meadows.

2011:
Moved up to meter 20 jumper ring this spring. Whirlwind
was part of the winning Alberta Team at the Brandon Winter
Fair with other very good placing. He is winning and high
pins in the hunter ring in the Central US.
Fall 2009 Update: Whirlwind 11 only went out once
this year. He once again has exceeded our expectations.
We entered him the 3 bars competition. We schooled him
to 4'9" the top of our standards. When he tied at
5' 6" a coin toss was the right answer. Once again
he showed his outstanding temperment, bravery and talent.

Fall
2008 Update. More exciting news. Whirlwind is continuing
with his winning ways. Winner
of the Canadian Performance Futurity Prairie division
in: Jumper and 2nd in Dressage,and
Hunter divisions. A strong
3rd finish in the young jumper development series final.
We are very pleased with his steady progress at all the
disciplines we ask of him. Rodney Tulluck and his team
at Landmark
Stables have done a terrific job of development
and care of this young stallion. Laura is continuing with
the home work. His offspring also are doing well in the
CWHBA futurities. MJ Esparanza by Whirlwind out of MJ
Evtia placed second in a tough class in the southern CWHBA
foal futurity.

He went 2nd in the dressage scores, 3 in the jumping scores
and 9's across the board from all 4 test riders. Our thanks
to the international judging team, Shauna Cook for the
rides at the test Rodney Tulluck for the show rides and
Miss Laura Iverson our 15 year old rider that has done
a wonderful job of his daily riding.
2006-He
won the 3 year old Material Championship for Alberta.
His 1st year of offspring have hit the ground in the spring
of 2007. We
are delighted he is so prepotent.

Whirlwind
is known as an overachiever. This was taken at the young
horse jumper development series June 2008. He ended
up the series placing 3rd overall by the September finals.
