Breeders notes:
We are raising athletic horses. As you can see we may need
a deer fence to keep them in the ring so you can see them move.(sigh)
In the many years we have raised horses we have found the
breeder maxim of 3 days , 3 months, 3 years to be true. There
are windows of opportunity to know what a horse will look like
at maturity. This applies to the proportions of the horse, just
as humans have those moments when they are in proportion then
every part grows at different times and stages.
Due to later foaling dates the majority of the 2010 foals have
been videoed in early Aug. 2010 From 3 months to 6 weeks of age.
We
do try to show most of these foals at the 3 month stage to help
you make the choice that suits you. Warmbloods can go thru a very
awkward stage past 3 to 4 months that can last until they are
three. Thier heads and length grow before they finish with thier
height.
Notes
as to our pricing:
This
is an opportunity to buy a high quality warmblood for a very reasonable
price.
As
they get older our prices increase to reflect the inputs of raising
them and the training we put into them.
Buying
now allows to the full choice of the foal crop and the best
price.
We
generally do not take pictures again of the foals not purchased
at weaning, until they are 2 years old (summer) due to our Canadian
climate, thier growth patterns and indoor lighting never shows
all they are.
